Rauf Denktash, the ex-President and founder of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus arrived in Baku as an eminent guest to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish television channel TRT reports.
The delegation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will held meetings with the Azerbaijani officials, including Speaker Murtuz Alasgarov and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, the Turkish television reports. During the meeting the sides will have exchange of opinions of some economic issues.
A visit program announced by the Azerbaijani-Turkish Union of Entrepreneurs (ATIB) does no envisage talks with the Azerbaijani officials.
