A group of the Azerbaijani lady MPs is in Chine. The forum dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the IV World woman conference is held in Beijing from 29 to 31 August, the press-service of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) told Trend. The forum will center on role and rights of women during armed conflicts, as well as issues of their education, professional training, and topic �Women and environment’.
The attending will be Rabiyat Aslanova, Gultakin Hajiyeva, Malahat Hassanova and Afat Khanbabayeva. They will speak about progress made in the spheres in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict, the problems of lady refugees and IDPs, and express the position of Azerbaijan on issues put in the agenda.
The visit will complete on 2 September.
