As of January to June 2005 the GDP calculated through the consumption method comprised 31.1trln manats, or 26.9% up as compared to the GDP ratio calculated by the State Statistics Committee through the production method
Special weight of investment demand dropped from 49.1% fixed in January to June 2004 to 41.1% in 2005.
Despite stable growth of consumption its special weight fell from 44.2% to 41.9%.
Public consumption grew both in absolute and relative prices. The expenses for purchase of goods and services rose by 44.5as compared to 2004 and grew from 4.4% to 4.8% in the structure of consumption.
Domestic production anew failed to catch up the rise in demand and the most part was ensured, which caused rise in import. As a result the special weight of export in GDP grew from 4.1% in January to June 2004 to 12.2% in January to June 2005.
