The Central Electoral Committee (CEC) considered an address on posters made against Ali Karimli, the chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP-reformers), and sent the documents to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigation, the party told Trend.
Azer Tagiyev, a member of the CEC, raised the issue of anti-propaganda posters discrediting Karimli at the CEC. He informed about demand of Karimli and the PFAP to investigate the issue in accordance with law.
Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the CEC, mentioned the necessity in address to the law-enforcement bodies in this respect. The documents were sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at Panahov’s proposal.
