Although the ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan in various spheres develop, the relations between the ruling parties are still weak, deputy chairman of the Turkish ruling Party of Justice and Development (PJD) Shaban Dishli stated on 30 August at the meeting with the
Azerbaijan’s Milli Mejlis Speaker Murtuz Aleskerov, Trend reports. According to Dishli, once the ties between the ruling parties deepen, it will affect other spheres of cooperation.
Aleskerov voiced satisfaction by the current level of cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence, that development of the inter-party cooperation will affect positively all spheres of activities, as well as investing by over 1000 Turkish businessmen in the economy of Azerbaijan, implementation of energy projects Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erserum.
Aleskerov voiced gratitude to the Turkish side for backing at the international organizations for taking fair decisions and resolutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh process. Dishli said, the Turkish side will attain implementation of all decisions.
