The appeals of 13 people condemned for the establishment of armed unions and other crimes were considered at the Supreme Court under the chairmanship of Zeygam Husseynova on Wednesday.

The Court released Ruslan Aliyev, reduced term of Rustam Asgarov to 6 months, Mushvig Gurbanov вЂ" 2 years, other condemned guerillas вЂ" 1 year. The appeals of Khizir Margashvili and Vusal Isayev were not considered.

According to Akif Nagi, the chairman of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO), member of Committee on Guerillas’ Rights, the sentence of the Supreme Court is unfair.

“The judge did not take into consideration that the terms received by the condemned persons are not corresponding with committed act, motives and other factors. The KLO condemned the position of the Supreme Court and said that they would use all means, including protest actions to seek fair sentence at the next instance,” he stressed.
