Rapprochment of Azerbaijan with the Turkish Republic of the Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will not bring to the pressure on the official Baku. Only Greece may introduce amendments in regard to the position of Azerbaijan, a political analyst Rasim Musabekov told Trend.
In his opinion, setting up economic relations with Azerbaijan is the key problem for the Northern Cyprus. These links have already established by the USA and Russia. В"The American diplomats, members of the Russia’s State Duma visited officially TRNC not once. It means, these states were to face the pressure of the international organizations long ago”, Musabekov noted.
Talking on the influence of setting up ties with TRNC on the Karabakh problem, a political scientist finds it impossible, as both conflicts are not comparable.
Political expert Vafa Guluzade considers, that rapprochment of TRNC and Azerbaijan is interpreted in various forms by many countries, including Russia. В"Moscow selected the road of blackmailing of Azerbaijan. Russia set up links with the Greek Cyprus, therefore it does not want rapprochment of Azerbaijan with TRNC”, he noted.
A political analyst Gabil Guseynli noted, that Azerbaijan would confront with international pressure only in case of establishing diplomatic relations with TRNC. “I do not find it necessary for Azerbaijan. We have got the Karabakh problem”.
