The first airbus "А319" purchased by the State Concern “Azerbaijan Hava Yollari” (AZAL) will arrive in Azerbaijan today at 18:00 p.m., the State Concern told Trend.
AZAL will receive 3 such aircrafts and a corporative liner AIRBUS" ACJ till the end of the current year. Last year the State Concern got the "Рђ320" airbus, which is used for the training of the technical crew.
The contract for purchasing of 4 aircrafts was signed by the leaders of AZAL and the Airbus company in August 2004 in Berlin during the official visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Germany.
Delivery of the first ACJ airliner to Azerbaijan will take place by the end of 2005. The price of the contract is $170 million.
