The commander in-chief of the Turkish ground forces general YaЕџar BГјyГјkanД±t will arrive in Baku on 7 September, the Embassy of Turkey to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The visit will last till 9 September and a number of meetings are planned to hold at the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. The details of the program are not disclosed.
Earlier in the interview with Trend the Turkish Ambassador in Azerbaijan Turan Morali reported, the visit is a part of the systematic military cooperation between the two friendly states.
It should be noted, the Minister of Defense of Turkey Vedjdi Kenul was on a visit in Baku on 20 July, stating that for Ankara there is no difference between the armed forces of his army and the armed forces of Azerbaijan and they are ready to assist in strengthening the military power of the fraternal state also in the future.
