Bulent Arinj, the speaker of the Turkish Parliament, sent critic notes to the parliaments of the countries recognized the Armenian genocide of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire. The letters express regret and disappointment in relation to the unfair accusations in regard to Turkey, Trend reports referring the Turkish media.

Arinj underlined that the resolutions of the parliaments of the foreign countries aroused Turkish MPs’ discontent, but the tragic events taken place during the World War I were misapprehended by the parliaments of the friendly countries.

We are not ashamed and afraid of our history, but biased attitude in regard to Turkey and the Turkish people inadmissible. The Turkish archives are open for world scientists,” Arinj stressed.

The letters were sent to the parliaments of Switzerland, Slovakia, Poland, Lebanon, Canada, Argentine, Herman, Belgium, France, Dutch, France, Italy, Greece, Uruguay, Sweden, Russia and Venezuela.
