Austria will preside at the European Union (EU) in the first half-year, the EU representative office in Baku told Trend.
The UK is currently preside at EU, while issues related to the bilateral cooperation are supervised by the British embassy in Azerbaijan.
Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ursulla Plassnick, the Austrian Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, focused on the issues of the coming bilateral cooperation during the visit of the Azerbaijani Minister to Austria.
The Ministers discussed the Azerbaijan’s participation in the neighborhood policy of this international organization, particularly, prospect of the designing and the adoption of the plan on cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU.
