Azerbaijan will participate in the international conference on development of the audit on the European Union members-countries, Novruzov said on
Tuesday.
According to Novruzov, he was going to deliver a paper on the current stage, major perspectives and directions of the auditor activities in Azerbaijan in a Vilnus conference scheduled for 6-7 October 2005.
Besides, under the visit it is planned to meet with the President of the Audit Chamber of Lithuania Gennadiy Makushev to mull the issues on the implementation of work under the agreement on cooperation with auditor bodies of Lithuania.
A protocol of cooperation between the Audit Chambers of Azerbaijan and Lithuania was signed in Baku on 20 July 2005.
