NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY WILL NOT TAKE PART IN AZADLIG BLOCK ACTIONS

The National Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (NDPA) will not take part in the actions of the Azadlig block, NDPA told Trend.

The party’s first deputy chairman Shamseddin Ragimli stated, one of the Azadlig alliance’s co-chairs, chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), reformists, Ali Kerimli addressed a letter to NDPA to take part in the rally on 25 September to be held by the alliance. However, NDPA will not take part this time in the action of the Azadlig block.

В"Till now we were involved in the actions of the Aadlig block. And the address of Ali Kerimli to us is based on the bilateral agreement, signed between NDPA and PFPA. This action of the Azadlig block bears a propaganda character. We are not members of the block therefore we will not take part in their propaganda. But participation of the party members in this event individually is not impeded”, NDPA deputy chairman said.

Ragimli also reported, NDPA addressed the appeal on cooperation to all oppositional parties and invited them to the joint meeting on 19 September. Signing of the joint agreement on cooperation in the elections between the oppositional parties is planned. However, there is no response to the invitation from NDPA.
