Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani President, signed a decree on the increase of the minimum wage in the country by 20% on Friday.
The minimum wage will be raised by 20% and comprise 150,000 manats from 1 October 2005 to improve the welfare and the money incomes of the Azerbaijani citizens, as well as strengthen the social security of the low-income families, Trend reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers is charged in solving of issues resulting from the decree.
