РђZERBAIJAN AND POLAND AGREED ON SPEEDING UP OF INTER-GOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION SETTING UP

The governments of Azerbaijan and Poland achieved agreement on speeding up the process of establishing the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

Such an agreement was reached during the intergovernmental Azerbaijani-Polish consultations that took place recently in Poland, an advisor of the Polish Embassy to Azerbaijan Voiczech Guretzki told Trend.

The Vice-Premier of the Azerbaijan’s government Abid Sharifov met with the Polish government’s officials in the framework of the participation at the annual economic forum in Poland. The sides considered also the opportunities for the expansion of the trade relations between the two countries, the diplomat said.

According to Guretski, the Polish side has not appointed the commission’s co-chairman and defined its composition. The issue will be considered by the new government, the diplomat said, as the elections of the president and the country’s new parliament will take place in the country shortly.
