POLAND NOT INVITE OBSERVERS TO PARLIAMENTARY AND PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS FROM AZERBAIJAN

Poland did not invited observers to the parliamentary and presidential elections
from Azerbaijan, Voisch Guretskiy, the Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Trend.

According to Guretskiy, the elections scheduled for 25 September and 9 October, but there will not be a monitoring in Poland in 2005. He noted that the CE and the OSCE decided not to organize monitoring over the elections.

The diplomat regards it as incorrect decision, as none of countries can holds everything in high level. There is necessity in improvement of some details and struggle for democracy even in the United States or other developed countries.

Poland will dispatch their observers to Azerbaijan to monitor over the course of the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

According to Guretskiy, the Polish observers will arrive in Azerbaijan as in the composition of the international delegations, the OSCE and the CE so separately from Seym (Polish Parliament).
