Starting with 20 September 2005 representatives of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan will take part in a number of military courses, the press service of the Defense Ministry told Trend.
Thus, according to the individual program “Partnership in the name of peace”, signed between NATO and Azerbaijan, on 22 September the first conference on exercises planning В"Cooperative Marlin-06В" will commence its work in Monse (Belgium). In Bishkek (Kirgiziya) the exercises “Military and civil trainings and the geographic information system during the emergency situations” launched. The training courses will last till 23 September.
The courses in the framework of “The Science of the European Security” will be held from 23 September till 16 December in Harmisch-Partenkirchen (Federal Republic of Germany). Under the bilateral plan of the military cooperation signed between Azerbaijan and the USA an international symposium for the naval forces countries started in New-Port (Spain). The event will last till 23 September.
