The trial of Mahammad Babanli, the former head of the Baku State University (BSU) chair will start in the Court on Serious Crimes under the chairmanship of Tofig Pashayev on Wednesday, Trend reports.
The Prosecutor General Office revealed that Babanli promised several people to help in admission to foreign private universities, when he worked as the head of the chair of organic and inorganic chemistry. Though he took large amount of money from these people, he did not keep his promises.
The National Safety Ministry and Prosecutor General Office took joint measures after receiving of claims and Babanli was arrested on 1 July.
