�The majority of documents to be signed during President Ilham Aliyev’s forthcoming official visit to Bulgaria on 23-24 September are ready,” Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov, head of the governmental working group which is currently in Sofia to carry out preparations for the visit, told Tend in a telephone talk.

The head of states are expected to sign a memorandum on cooperation between the two countries in joining to the European Union. Under the visit scheduled for the second half of September it is planned to hold a business forum and Azerbaijani businessmen will go Sofia in this connection. The forum will work in two directions вЂ" tourism, as well as investments and construction.
The visit to be paid at the invitation of Bulgarian President Georgiy Pirvanov will come as a reply to Bulgarian leader’s official visit to Azerbaijan in 2004.
During the visit the head of state will continue the dialogue started earlier on the delegation of the bilateral cooperation. The visit program includes President Aliyev’s meeting with Pirvanov, as well as Prime Minister Sergey Stepashin, Speaker Georgiy Pirinskiy.
