Trainings for police inspectors, engaged in juvenile delinquency were launched on 26 September 2005 in the “Gyanjlik” Centre, the UNICEF Baku office told Trend.
In the opening of the courses which to last till 7 October the head of the UNICEF representative office Hanna Singer and the deputy Interior Minister Oruj Zalov took part. Inspectors from Baku, Sumgayit, Guba, Sharur and Barda are participating in the training courses. The goal of the trainings is to inform the police workers on international standards of the justice system in regard to juveniles and the aspects of unification of the Azerbaijani system with the international practice.
