(IA "Novosti вЂ" Georgia”) The next meeting of the frontier departments heads, members of the GUAM regional union (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) will take place on 27-29 September 2005 in Baku, in which a delegation of the Georgian department on guarding the state border of the Georgian Interior Ministry will also take part, the press service of the Border Department of Georgia said.
The issues of ensuring security in the region, the security of transport corridors, as well as fighting the international terrorism, illegal migration, illegal drugs and weapons of mass destruction trafficking will be discussed at the meeting.
International experts will also take part in the meeting.
