The Baku Executive Authority sent a reply to the “In the name of Azerbaijan” election block on 27 September 2005 on the intentions of the organization to hold a rally on 1 October 2005 on the Galaba square, the head of the alliance’s election block Taleh Aliyev told Trend .
According to him, in their reply letter the city authorities proposed to hold the rally from 14.00 p.m. to 16.00 p.m. The reason for this is holding the rally by the Azadlig block on the same day. В"We specified the time in the letter from 17.00 p.m. till 19.00 p.m.В", - Aliyev noted.
He also added he disagrees with the city authorities’ proposal, as he thinks the authorities do it with the purpose of splitting the democratic forces.
