The Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev is expected to participate in the opening ceremony of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Georgian section,” Novruz Mammadov, the chief of the Foreign Relations Division of the President’s Aparat, said to journalists on Thursday, Trend reports.
The event is scheduled for 12 October. Aliyev will pay visit and participate in the event at the invitation of Mikhail Saakashvilli, the Georgian President. Attending the ceremony will also be Ahmad Nejdet Sezer, the Turkish President.
