During the unauthorized rally of the Azadlig block in downtown Baku by 17.30 p.m. the police cleared the streets leading to the Djafar Djabarli square from the protesters. The action’s participants started abandoning the place by this time.
From 200 to 300 people took part in the action, the deputy head of the Baku Chief Police Department Yashar Aliyev told Trend. According to him, 39 persons were detained for “serious violations of law”.
