�AZADLIG’ BLOC MAY HOLD RALLIES EVERY DAY

�Azadlig’ election bloc may hold rally every day,” Elman Salayev, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party including in the bloc, told Trend.

He noted that if the authorities break the rally scheduled for 8 October, the issue would be put on agenda. “We intend to protect our rights within the Constitution. Let the authorities to demonstrate their force not once in a week, but every day. We also try to realize our goals,” Salayev said.

Touching upon Azadlig’s attempt to hold the rally on 1 October, he noted that the constitutional rights of the citizens were violated. “The police use force, beat tens of the participants of the rally, but did not manage to take away their rights,” he stressed. Salayev also stated that during the action over 200 participants of the rally were arrested and 60 were injured. 20 people are kept in the police precinct and face with pressure. The bloc addressed to different international organizations in this regard.

Vurgun Eyyub, the deputy chairman of Musavat Party including in the bloc, appreciated the attempt to hold the rally as one of the stages of the election campaign. “However, the authorities deprive us of opportunity to meet with our electors. This shows that they try to falsify the parliamentary elections as well,” he added.

Isag Avazoglu, the head of the press service of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP-reformers), asserted the words of his colleague. “Pitiless break of the rally scheduled for 1 October revealed the attitude of the government to the electors,” he underlined.
