The head of the National Gymnastics Federation Mehriban Aliyeva received medal of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) from the organization’s president Bruno Grandi at the World Championship closing ceremony in Baku.
During the grand ceremony Grandi noted that the competition in Baku passed at the highest level. “Baku favoured a real holiday to the connoisseurs of the rhythmic gymnastics, who witnessed during the whole week the fascinating performance of sportsmen”, he noted, Trend reports.
Grandy has also delivered special symbols to the president of the European Federation of Gymnastics, the head of the National Federation of Greece Dimitrios Dimitropolus, as the next mundial will be held exactly in Hellas.
In conclusion of his speech Grandi announced the World Championship closed, followed by the gala concert.
