ABOUT 15 ISSUES INCLUDED IN AGENDA OF XIII BSECO COUNCIL OF FOREIGN MINISTERS SESSION

Around 15 issues will be included into the agenda of the XIII session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSECO) to be held on 28 October 2005 in Chisinau, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend.

Discussion of the organization’s perspectives is planned at the sitting. A special attention will be paid to the issue of the cooperation development with such international institutions as the Council of Europe, GUAM and other, as well as energy and transport projects.

The issues of preparation to the session and the preliminary agenda of negotiations and the intensification of the Azerbaijan’s role in the organization were discussed recently at the meeting of the Azerbaijan’s FM head Elmar Mammadyarov with the organization’s Secretary General Tedo Djaparidze. Azerbaijan plans to pay a special attention to the cooperation on energy and transport matters. Аzerbaijan will be represented at the CFM sitting by the Foreign Minister Mammadyarov, FM reported.
