The Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) continues intensive measures on the arrest of Rasul Guliyev, balloting in the parliamentary elections, the Ministry told Trend .
The Ministry has information that Guliyev will arrive at Heydar Aliyev airport at 16.00 on 17 October. The operative employees of the MIA will control appropriate territory of the airport from morning Wednesday to present a sanction of the Prosecutor Office on his arrest.
The MIA also noted that Guliyev’s repatriation in accompany of foreign journalists and international law-defenders would not hinder his arrest.
The employees of the MIA will hinder entering of the people, preparing to meet Guliyev. “The airport is a strategic object and the police will not allow any disorder,” he said. The Prosecutor Office and the MIA will spread joint statement for society.
