В"The villagers of the Gusar province bordering with Russia are blockaded, the Milli Mejlis deputy Asya Manafova told the next sitting of the Parliament on 12 October 2005, Trend reports.
The deputy said on general problems of Gusar. According to her, there is no economic development in the villages bordering with the Russia’s Dagestan. В"The roads are awful. The population living on the Azerbaijani side of the Samur river sees enviously the prospering economic development on the other side. There are forces who fuel the Gusar population against the authorities, using the negative things”, Manafova said.
Despite the gas running from Russia to Azerbaijan goes through the Shirvanovka village of Gusar province, the population faces the problem of the gas deficiency.
The deputy addressed the government authorities at the Parliament. “Go to Gusar, look at the situation there. It may cause negative things in future”, Manafova said.
