A program of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov’s forthcoming official visit to Egypt on 15-18 October has been defined, the Foreign Ministry announced.
During the visit to Egypt Mammadyarov plans to hold meetings with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarek, Foreign Minister Ahmet Abul Gayt, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Amir Musa, and different senior officials.
Under the visit it is planned to discuss opportunities for further development of bilateral Azerbaijan-Egyptian relationship, the situation in the Near East and in the region, as well as issues of mutual interest. No bilateral document is scheduled for signing.
