“The results of the monitoring of the pre-election situation and the voting day in Baku villages will be sent to the Council of Europe, National Democracy Institute and Helsinki Civil Assembly,” Khanlar Ibrahimov, the deputy chairman of the Union of Baku and settlements (UBS), told Trend.
It should be mentioned that the monitoring was planned by the UBV and the Institue of Democracy and Peace. It will be held in 7 settlements of Baku and 2 settlements of Absheron. “The 1st stage started. The information about revealed violations are sent to the Institute of Democracy and Peace, where the Director Leila Yunus will draw a report to submit them to international organizations on 22 October,” he said.
Ibrahimov also noted that the proposal on holding of monitoring belongs to Yunus.
