“The Azerbaijan Ministry of Interior Affairs concluded work on arrest of Rasul Guliyev, the ex-Speaker, also leader of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party,” Trend reports quoting Ehsan Zahidov, the spokesman for the interior Ministry.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan will be involved in the extradition of the ex-Speaker. An investigation will leave for Ukraine either today [Tuesday] or tomorrow [Wednesday],” he underlined.
He also noted that relevant measures are taken on the case of arrested on Monday [17 October]. The court has passed a relevant sentence o the arrested and they were sent to the isolation jails 1 and 3 as the suspected.
