In the action to be held by the Azadlig block on 23 October 2005 the main demands will be to release the chairman of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) Rasul Guliyev, ensure his return to Azerbaijan and participation in the parliamentary elections, the Azadlig block co-chairman Ali Kerimli told Trend.
According to him, subsequent actions, along with the demands to hold democratic elections will be dedicated, mostly, to the defense of Rasul Guliyev.
It should be noted, the appeal to the Baku City executive power has been made on holding the action on 23 October on one of the Baku central squares. The appeal proposes 6 routes in regard to the rally venue. In case of refusal by the mayor’s office the coalition’s leaders will take a decision on the action’s venue themselves.
