Maharram Aliyev, the head of the Central Police Department of Baku held a meeting on Friday, local television channel ATV reported.
Regarding the last developments Aliyev noted that on the eve of the elections some forces strive to establish chaos in the country with respect to influence on the election processes. “Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the policy founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev. The police bodies are always on guard of the stability in the country and continue struggling with crime. The definite circles are keen to create resistance, spread rumors of slander character. They target raising tension in the country. While they forget that we are loyal to the state and the President,” he underlined.
