Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, will probably pay an official visit to Greece in late November. The preparations for the visit are underway, the Ministry told Trend.
The official invitation was handed over Mammadyarov by Spiridon Bakas, the chief of the Division on CIS countries of the Greek Foreign Ministry, within the visit to Azerbaijan from 20 to 22 June.
The Foreign Ministries will hold next round of consultations during the next visit. Mammadyarov will meet with the President, the Foreign Minister and the head of the Greek Parliament to discuss development of bilateral political and economical cooperation, as well as hold exchange of opinions on regional and international issues.
The expert group of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs will visit the Athens to unify the draft documents, which will be signed within the visit.
