Plenum of Supreme Court to consider lawsuit of TNP chairman

The Plenum of the Supreme Court will consider the lawsuit of Vugar Beyturani, the chairman of the Turkish National Party (TNP), Trend reports referring to Beyturani.

Beyturani addressed to the Central Election Committee (CEC), then to Court of Appeals and Supreme Court after decision of the constituency committee on non-registration of his candidacy in Masalli constituency N70. The last three instances upheld the decision. Therefore, the chairman of the party turned to the Plenum of the Supreme Court.

“If the Plenum of the Supreme Court does not restore my rights next week, I will have to address to the Constitutional Court and The European Court on Human Rights.

The chairman of the party also reported that the last measure in this regard would be hunger-strike.
