Tusk gains back among Polish voters residing in Baku

Donald Tusk, the leader of the right liberal party �Civil Platform’, gained the majority of votes as a result of the second round of the voting for the presidential elections in Poland on 23 October, Darush Kaminskiy, the Polish Consul in Azerbaijan, told Trend.

He said that on the elections day 18 electors came to the voting station organized at the embassy, 15 of them voted for Tusk, 3 вЂ" for Lech Kaczynski, mayor of Warsaw. These were citizens of Poland temporarily working for the embassy in Baku, different companies and enterprises in Azerbaijan. Their total number ranges to 70, the diplomat underlined.

According to the Consul, as a rule the results of votes abroad differ essentially for indefinite reasons.

According to the State Elections Commission of Poland, as of results of the second round Lech Kaczynski, mayor of Warsaw, a member of Right and Justice with 53.7%, decisively headed in the list of candidates to presidency. Tusk, the leader of the right liberal party �Civil Platform’, gained 56.3% of all votes.
