The rally of the Azadlig block scheduled for 30 October will be replaced by the rally-concert on 4 November 2005 at the Tofik Bahramov Republican Stadium, the chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), reformists Ali Kerimli told the news conference
on 24 October, Trend reports.
The reason for changing the date and the action’s venue Kerimli explained by “more expansive space of the action to be held. Besides, we want to focus all our forces by 4 November. We applied to the city authorities for holding the concert-rally”.
Kerimli also noted the Azadlig block will start rallies in the regions from 25 October.
According to Kerimli, the regional parties branches, parts of the Azadlig block, have been relevantly instructed on the actions preparations. The alliance has also applied to the local executive structures for sanctioning the rallies.
