“The opposition is obliged to come out with different charges as their plans ob coup e’etet have been revealed,” MP Mubariz Gurbanly, the Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP).

The chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP, reformers), Ali Karimli, one of the founders of the Azadlyg elections bloc, the biggest opposition alliance, has recently voiced his disagreement with the idea that the dismissal of ministers Farhad Aliyev and Ali Insanov was not linked with the attempts of state upheaval. They have nothing to do with the opposition and the happened was the result of crisis in the state power.

Gurbanly underlined that following the revealing of financial sources of the radical opposition in the authorities, their plans for attempting to a coup d’etat were ruined. “The initial results of the investigation show that the ministers dismissed from their posts rendered financial assistance to the radical opposition and the radical opposition cannot deny the fact.

MP noted that the authorities do not suffer from crisis. The resignation of ministers and covering of the black activities occurred in every country. “It is illogical argument put forward by the opposition on the eve of the elections to gain additional dividends,” he underlined.
