On Tuesday the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on application of the 30 September 2005 Law 1018-ii qd on injection of changes and supplements to some legislative acts, Trend reports.
The decree says that the Azerbaijani government was charged in drawing and submission to the President the proposals on matching acting legislative acts with the Law 1018-ii qd during a month.
The government was charged in matching of the legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers and appropriate central executive power bodies with the Law, informing the President about the work in the sphere and solution of other issues within their authorities.
The President also signed a decree on application of the 30 September 2005 Law 1020-ii qd on injection of changes and supplements to some legislative acts. The Cabinet of Ministers was charged in ensuring of holding preliminary investigation on the crimes envisaged in articles 144-1, 144-2 and 316-1 of the Criminal Code by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
