The parliamentary delegation of the Council of Europe (CE) of 47 persons headed by Leo Platvoet (Netherlands) will arrive in Azerbaijan to monitor the parliamentary elections together with the OSCE and the European Parliament observers.
The delegation, the largest in number ever sent by the Assembly to elections will stay in the country from 4 to 7 November, Trend reports. The CE delegation will meet with the authorities and representatives of political parties, electoral blocks running up for the elections. On the Election day, on 6 November, the delegation will monitor the voting.
