In September foreign trade turnover reduced. The monthly foreign trade balance became black.

The foreign trade turnover comprised $5.72bn.

The growth pace of export grew 14.38% and comprised $2.50bn.

In this period foreign trade ended with a balance at $0.72bn in red.

Export of products grew in every category except crude oil and raw cotton.

Over the first 10 months of 2005 crude export reduced 34.71% following cut in SOCAR export volumes via the Baku-Novorossiysk route. SOCAR was obliged such step due to commencement of big oil production from the ACG and insufficiency of existing export pipelines.

Rise in import was caused by cars and equipment, as well as natural gas and transport conveyances. The same time the import of foodstuff, ferrous metal and wares of it, as well as pharmaceutics products dropped.
