Iranian government congratulates Azerbaijan on Ramadan

The Iranian government has sent congratulatory letter to leadership and people of Azerbaijan on Ramadan holiday. The Iranian embassy in Baku told Trend the telegrams were cabled by Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejdet, the chairman of the assembly of the Islamic Council, Gulamali Khaddad Adel and Foreign Minister Manuchohr Mottaki.

Letters addressed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the chairman of the Milli Majlis, Murtuz Alasgarov, and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov congratulates the leadership and people of the country. The senior officials of Iran voiced their confidence that firm grounds will be established for the development of the Islamic world through proximity of the Moslem nations of the world and on the base of holly Koran.

The letter also notes the confidence that the existing fraternal relationships and cooperation between the two countries will be consolidated through religious and culture relationships.
