The next session of the CE Ministers Committee is planned in Strasburg from 16 to 17 November, the CE headquarters told Trend.
The Ministers will discuss reforming of the CE at the session with participation of Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister. Portuguese FM Diego Freitas du Amaral, the chairman of the CE Ministers Committee, will delivery a report on the activities of his country in the post of the chairman over the last 6 months. Walter Schvimmer, the Secretary General, will also make speech on the current issues. The Ministers will consider some documents, adoption of which will ensure effectiveness of control system of adherence to the European Convention on Human Rights, particularly, the protocol on injection of changes into the Convention, recommendations to member countries and the Minister Committee resolution.
Besides, the Ministers will hold unofficial meeting, which will concern the state in the world, bilateral relations. The participants of the session will touch upon the further plans within the interaction with other international organizations, hold exchange of opinion on contribution of the CE in the struggle with terrorism in the international level and get familiar with the activities of the organization in the struggle with human traffic, organized criminality.
