The operational group of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of National Security (MNS) detained persons involved in smuggling of drugs, the MNS centre of public relations told Trend.
At the stationary post of the State Road Police of Sabirabad region residents of Ali-Bayramli town were detained. They are: Rashad Guliyev, Anar Djabbarov, Yasef and Rasef Mehtiyevs. During inspection of their car 602 grams of heroine, 597 grams of marihuana, a hand-gun В"Sayga-410РљВ" and 39 cartridges wee found.
During check-ups it became clear, the group member were engaged in permanent smuggling at the order of the Iranian citizen Huseyn by name. On receiving drugs they sold them to residents of Beylagan region Farmayil and Rashad Suleymanovs, Barsuye Allahverdiyev and Emil Gasimov. During the operational actions they were arrested.
4 kilograms of heroine, 17 grams of marihuana, 34.500 USD, a Winchester have been found at their homes.
