Bulgarian observers arrive in Azerbaijan

The Bulgarian �Civil Initiative for Free and Democratic Elections’ nongovernmental organization will follow the parliamentary elections. The representatives of the observation mission held a news conference at the International Press Center on Thursday, Trend reports.

The organization will follow the elections in Azerbaijan for 4th time. It participated in the parliamentary elections in 2000, the presidential elections in 2003, the municipal elections in 2004 as observer.

The organization will hold monitoring of the parliamentary elections on 6 November. 26 Bulgarian specialists have arrived in Azerbaijan in this regard. The Bulgarian representatives work to render assistant to holding of total monitoring of the elections. The number of the observers from the �Civil Initiative for Free and Democratic Elections’ nongovernmental organization will increase till the voting day. 38 Bulgarian specialists are expected to carry out the monitoring on the voting day. The Bulgarian Central Election Committee and the Parliament will also dispatch 13 representatives to Azerbaijan. The Bulgarian observers will draw the report and return to their motherland on 10 November.
