“The employees of the Ombudsman Institute follow the course of the elections in some elections stations and reformatories on 6 November,” Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, told journalists, Trend
reports.
She noted that 20 employees of the Institute followed the course of the voting in the reformatories 2, 4, 5,9,10, as well as the election stations of the districts Yasamal, Sabail and Garadagh.
According to Suleymanova, they did not observe any serious violation during the elections and exit-poll.
The ombudsman also stressed that repeated voting was impossible in these elections. Suleymanova stated that they would draw up a report about on the results of the observation. “We are not state body drawing a report, but in case of violation it will be reflected in our annual report,” she underlined.
