The Information Center �Elections’ of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) held a news conference on the results of polls at 15.00pm [local time], Trend reports.
Igbal Babayev, the Director of the Information Center, said that they have received data from 125 constituencies. As of 15.00pm a total of 1,496,113 people, or 32.08% of all voters, participated in the polls. The data came from 5,137 polling stations. Babayev named the constituencies which demonstrated particular activity. More activity is observed in the polling stations in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The Information Center �Elections’ has not received any data on law-breaks. Any appeals on the violations can be made through hotline established at the Independent Press Center of the CEC. Babayev asserted that the CEC has received an appeal on taking away of a polling box from constituency 125. However, as a result of investigation it was revealed that no fact of the kind had happened.
Next news conference of the Information Center will be held at 18.00pm. The results of the poll will be made public starting from 20.00pm on the base of protocols received from every constituency.
