“The representations of the opposition violated the Elections Code in Shamkir-Dashkasan constituency committee 100,” Mubariz Gurbanli, the deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, told Trend.
He noted that the representatives of the opposition, Maharram Gasimov and Etibar Husseynov visited election stations and called up ecletors to voted for them. “The representatives of the candidates, who obey the Elections Code, held campaign in all election stations,” Gurbanli stressed.
Gurbanli said that despite such negative facts, the elections were held in the highest level within the appropriate laws. Despite the pressure exerted by the opposition, electors could use their political will. “The results on holding of elections will be reflected in the final document of the NAP,” he added.
Gurbanli reported that the central structure of the party received information about violations ever two hours.
