Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, does not any doubts in respect to legitimacy of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. Lavrov stressed that under the OSCE and CIS Russia sent a number of observers to Azerbaijan for monitoring the elections, Trend reports in reference to RBK.
Mikhael Kaminin, an official of the Russian Foreign Ministry, regarded the OSCE observers’ conclusions on election in Azerbaijan as hasty. He called to avoid from �hasty estimations�. "As far as we understand the statements were made prior to official publication of results of the poll by the Central Elections Commission of Azerbaijan. So, this absolutely unclear and counter-productive hasty is on eyes,” the diplomat underlined.
